Business Account Manager
Reporting to: Director of Account Development & Management
Salary: Up to £28k OTE
Job summary: As a Small Business Account Manager you will be responsible for building relationships with your own assigned account base, you will gain a clear understanding of their key business drivers and use this knowledge to identify further converged products and solutions to meet their needs, creating new and ongoing profitable business and maximising the revenue potential of each account. This is a desk based role with significant emphasis on contacting and developing Timico's existing SME customers.
Duties and responsibilities:
  • The day to day activities will typically involve contacting existing customers from your own assigned account base and selling in to their needs
  • Develop a thorough understanding of Timico's products / solutions
  • Build strong working relationships, developing effective communication links and work to maximise potential from account base
  • Achievement of financial and non financial sales related objectives within your existing account base
  • Anticipation of customer requirements to ensure these are reflected into long term planning
  • Effective interaction across the company with other departments in order to develop customer relationships and secure sales opportunities
Ideal candidate:
  • This is a sales role and so as a Business Account Manager you will naturally be of an outgoing nature, you will thrive from working in a fast paced environment and will enjoy working towards targets and KPI's
  • You will have a passion for excellent customer service
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills, along with personal tenacity and the ability to drive things through to conclusion in a dynamic and challenging environment
  • Keen knowledge of a wide range of communication services
  • Flexible in approach
Minimum qualifications and relevant experience:
  • Experience in an account management or sales role would be preferred but not essential ideally within a telecoms, internet or IT environment
  • Proven track record in achieving financial and non-financial objectives and KPIs
  • Telephone relationship management experience
