The citrix server has already achieved full ROI as they have not needed to upgrade any machines at their head office this year. The most recent installation of a fully virtualised network infrastructure and virtual storage has provided Ruddle Merz with an enhanced Disaster Recovery solution, through underground fibre linking their Oakham office to their satellite DR office. The extra bandwidth means that if a fire, flood or burglary occurs at the head office, all data is secure and replicated in real-time in their satellite office to ensure business activities continue as normal.
