Timico partners with ipcortex to launch a new IP PBX range for the SMB market

Newark, UK - June 22nd, 2010 - Timico, the independent B2B internet service provider, today announced its partnership with ipcortex, a specialist provider of converged network products, to launch a new Voice over IP business phone system available through partner channels as well to its SMB customers direct.

The VoIPCortex IP PBX solution uses open VoIP network technology, meaning it can deliver greater flexibility and efficiency - both in terms of productivity and cost. As a resilient hardware device with excellent call quality and reliability, it makes an ideal drop-in replacement for a traditional PBX unit, with compelling economic advantages. Timico will be offering three models within the range - the VoIPCortex Compact, Standard and Pro, which have been designed to satisfy any size of business from small offices with up to 30 users, to much larger organisations with up to 1200 users.

Traditional PBX systems often have inflexible, artificial licence-based restrictions, however the VoIPCortex IP PBX allows workforce or office changes to be made simply, cost effectively, and with minimal disruption. The VoIPCortex IP PBX does not employ an artificial licence model and it can be installed into existing data networks, providing the freedom to expand the telephone system as and when the need arises.
