Timico launches Managed Service Provider (MSP) Partner Programme
New channel proposition enables partners to draw on Timico's infrastructure investments, business-strength service levels and technical expertise to tell a complete Cloud story
Nottinghamshire, UK – 15th May 2012 - Independent internet service provider Timico has announced the launch of a new channel initiative. Building on the success of its existing traditional channel, the company is looking to create an exclusive community of MSPs with complementary skill sets and a shared focus on exceptional customer support levels pre and post sale.
Leading the new channel offering is Stuart James, formerly UK Channel Manager for Rise.
"We recognise that the shift towards Cloud is forcing MSPs to adapt their business model and expand their portfolio," comments James.
"It's crucial that they partner with a vendor like Timico that allows them to retain their position as trusted advisor to their customers, whilst maximising margin and professional service revenue. What sets us apart is that we help deliver both a complete solution and an ongoing IT strategy, fully aligned with the partner's proposition, rather than just asking them to resell our services."
Few vendors are capable of delivering the core element of a Cloud solution – the actual Cloud or network itself. With its own core network and UK-based data centres, including a brand new £5 million, state-of-the-art facility in the East Midlands, Timico is uniquely positioned to support partners in the delivery of full hosting solutions (true Private Cloud) including business-strength, dedicated connectivity (ADSL/EFM/Ethernet/MPLS) to customers, as well as telephony and mobility solutions.
The Timico MSP Partner Programme offers partners a choice of how to do business with Timico based on core competencies, time and resource available, specific opportunities or product sets. Customised training, sales and marketing support, including MDF, pre sales and help desk to help desk support are available to partners signing up, as well as competitive pricing and commissions.
"Partnering with Timico plugs gaps in our portfolio allowing us to deliver a more comprehensive service to customers, maximising our share of the IT purse and fending off competition," comments Steven Goldblatt, Managing Director of Timico MSP Partner, Leaf.
"Most importantly though, Timico offers both the technical support and high levels of service required for our customer base."
